Why do paper magazines sink and blogs flourish?

Although I write on different blogs (coolhunting is my passion), I need to be sincere I’m not a regular reader of the other blogs, I follow only those I think are the best. Of course I don’t dislike them, but I especially like those that span across different fields of interest and not only show outfit after outfit. Here we go again, another collaboration. The lucky agreement Famous Designer + H&M strikes again.
I must say that after the famous Karl Lagerfeld collections, all the other collaborations didn’t seem to turn out so well. Was it for the cheap fabrics or for the overall look, I didn’t manage to feel really excited about them. But today…
