Korea meets London. Juhee Han, a newly graduate from the legendary fashion house; Central Saint Martins, Han is a knitwear designer. She graduated from BA Fashion Design and Knitwear in 2011 and her graduation show, I must say, is quite interesting. Her collection is knitwear combined with fur and metal accessories in bright colours; oranges, purple and tones of beige.
Last year I wrote a post on a famous fairy tale and there I mentioned also straw. I thought that this material would be an interesting element to use for future seasons, both for fashion and furniture design. I was right. The idea came to me while I was preparing a post concerning the Walt Disney character “Rapunzel” and of course it made me smile. In creativity you never know where inspiration comes from.
