Filep is born in Cyprus with Syrian Nationality and now lives in Greece. ‘He started off as assistant stylist for the Greek edition of L’Officiel followed by four years as first assistant designer to Couture House Loukia.
Than he moved to Paris where he worked as an intern for John Galliano, Dior Couture and later chez maison Chloe. Since 2006, he signs Un nouVeau iDeal, the blog that Dazed and Confused recently voted on the top ten fashion blogs in Europe where you can find many interviews to the best designers.’

It’s not that usual to find a young fashion designer that shows a first collection during the official calendar of the Paris Fashion Week; but the Dutch designer Steffie Christiaens did, on a beautiful sunny almost-spring Sunday in Paris. Steffie Christiaens established her Paris studio in 2010 to pursue a conceptual design process through womens & mens ready-to-wear collections.

Bless is a conceptual fashion label. Their creations are somewhat a mix between product and fashion design; new solutions for day-to-day life, which – depending on the product – come out in limited editions of 20 to 2000 pieces of one particular design. Allready the first of their editions – Bless N°00 – was picked up by Belgian avantgarde designer Martin Margiela, who showed the furwigs at his Autumn/Winter collection 1997/98 in Paris. The Shop mainly functions as an institution, a big Bless window on the world. Sold out products can be seen, former and recent products can be bought.

THE PRESENTATION at PARIS FASHION WEEK: BLESS is a visionary substitute to make the near future worth living for. She is an outspoken female – more woman than girl. She’s not a cliched beauty, but doesn’t go unnoticed. Without a definite age she could be anywhere between twenty five and forty five. B. hangs around with a special kind of man. She has no nationality and thinks that sport is quite nice. She’s alway attracted to temptations and loves changes. She lives in the now and her surrondings are charged wuth her presence. She tends to be future orientated. BLESS is a project that presents ideal and artistic values through their products to the customers.

Design Catwalk has been invited for the first time to attend Paris fashion week. Abs fab! But with all DC team throughout Europe and with me completely overwhelmed by work, in order to have the chance to attend the fashion events, I decided to stop everything in Milan for few days and leaving for Paris. How could we refuse an invitation like this? I mean, we’re talking about Paris! I decided to book a hotel in Montmartre, I love that scenic view, and to prepare everything to be ready for the shows.
