Roberta in the Scarpa

This Weekend I went to Triest to see the Roberta di Camerino exhibition in the interesting art museum “Revoltella“: interesting for the permanent art collection, for the combination with fashion and the importance given to it interesting for the building, renewed buy the architect Carlo Scarpa.
Roberta di Camerino has been “One of The Women” in fashion. She explored her Venetian roots working on velvet, and her feature became the buckle and the belt (in her beautiful Logo).
The woman she represents is ironic, comfortable, coloured, different, beautiful, feminine. no clichées.
If you get to the city the exhibition will be open until the end of January, anyway the museum and over all the history of Triest make of that city a new and not obvious destination in Italy.
