Rendez Vous Paris: Sac à Porter

What I don’t like about fashion fairs is the fact that sometimes there are brands that look like a pure exhibition of “I studied at St Martins and I am oh-so-creative (but have no practical sense)”. That’s why when I see a brand which bring brilliant and creative ideas, which say something new and at the same time make something useful, I feel fine!
That’s the case of Sac-A-Porter, by the Italian Francesca Marchisio. The brand takes its name from the invention of garments that can be turned into bags, or that have parts that can be used to carry things, like the waistcoat-backpack seen in the first pictures, or the fur scarf with pockets which can become a fur collar if worn under a coat.
I loved also the reversible dresses that are made of double faced fabrics and can be turned into endless combinations thanks also to the zippers which transform them into tops.
Very practical, very new, very cool!
