There is not only Plastic Packaging or Surgery…and transparent clothes don’t have to be those ones the Emperor got. Jennifer Gadient comes from Switzerland and just graduated, and what she does is Plastic Poetry Clothing produced in Switzerland.
There’s not much information about her (maybe I should interview her ^_^) but when I saw this collection on NJAL I fell in love at first sight. It says on her profile that what fascinates her is the known and strange, attraction and rejection. Her aim is to offend without being shocking. This tension is what generates curiosity. It could be straight ahead the answer of a contemporary artist working in a different field. I want to tell you my dear readers: despite this categorie is calles “is fashion ART?” I won’t ask this to myself anymore. YES. it is just the same. And as well as art it can be comercial or not. copyied or not. come in multiples or not.
