Pitti Uomo 77 Special n.2: Giles Deacon woman precollection @ Richard Ginori

The British designer Giles Deacon was the special guest of Pitti W – Woman Precollection.
And that was just AMAZING.
Before all, a walk through the classic Ginori masterpieces from 1700 to Gio Ponti – vases, statues, plates of course…
The 15 models were standing among piles and piles of precious Ginori porcelains, in the building which is still nowadays the actual factory. Fluo wigs and couture outfits, the typical so-Giles original prints – paper clips, wrenches – wearing also the incredible “hats” made by Stephen Jones for this occasion.
About the collection, Giles says: “I don’t think there is a look, per se. I mean, Giles is never about, you know, conjuring some kind of downtown style. I like clothes that have a distinct personality—statement clothes, I guess I’d say. Accessible eccentric. Each garment is unique. The fabrication, the print, the cut.” [Style.com]
