Marimekko (HEART) Converse
We adore the creations of the brands we like. But we LOVE it when two of our favorite brands have collaborate to make us even happier.
Marimekko, a Finnish textile and clothing design house, has joined forces with the timeless legend, “All star” Converse.
Marimekko used their aesthetic experience to create graphic new designs for Converse that will be on sale this month in stores and online. The Finnish design group has expanded into household goods, clothing – both for adults and children- jewellery and accessories and with this very important collaboration the brand is destined to be spoken of worldwide.
But we have some bad news for guys. These designs are solely for gals. The popular ‘High Tops’ by Converse will now feature patterns from Marimekko’s most influential designers such as Tarha from 1963, Pikkusuomu from 1965 by Annika Rimala. Certainly the bright, vibrant and bold designs of such collaborations will be one of the favorites this spring summer and I myself can’t wait to have them!
