Laces, pied de poule and metal, the next accessories collection
Mark Jacobs has several shops in NYC, in the west village it is easy to find different proposals of his clothes and accessories/gadgets all together in one block. I thought about the MJ’s accessories (I’m talking about the gadgets, have you seen them? 1 euro/5 euro?) and I wondered why they were created to be sold at these prices, I came out with the answer that probably they were meant as a marketing strategy to spread the brand everywhere as much as possible. Will they affect the brand in a good or a bad way? I think they’re working; a lot of friends bought these items as a first approach to the brand. Talking about the primary collection I can only bow in front of the american designer, I love every single piece in his latest woman’s summer collection, I have seen it everywhere from Burney to Saks and Bloomingdale’s during my trip in NYC.
