J.W.Anderson When man meets natural

We are almost close to August  holidays, so in order to take a break we decided that  after this week, we’ll start to post again from September onwards, we really need to recover strength and inspiration and to prepare contents for a dazzling fashion autumn. I thought to close the first part of 2011 by choosing as pick of the summer, the Irish fashion designer J.W. Anderson, who presented an autumn/winter collection inspired by naturalism. Of course Anderson interpretation of naturalism is shown in a very personal way and some of the designer assertions explain his fashion manifesto very well: “we don’t have to let the fantastical ideals of youth collapse into the mundane realities of adulthood”. Why should we? Anderson thoughts are related to a vision where things can be borrowed from a man to a woman and from a woman to a man, with no borders between the masculine and the feminine wardrobe. As a child, I loved to wear men clothing, so why not to remove the differences between the two genres definitely? Though I certainly do not know how many men would be able to wear his skirts so easily as do the models on the catwalk, but it could be quite cool seeing guys around Milan with these outfits, at least for a while.
