When we are young we are keen on dressing as superman, wonder woman, cinderella on the night of the Hallows. However, the gap between how we dress on Halloween from our daily couture is getting smaller each season in order to keep up with the drama of life. May it be John Galliano or Gareth Pugh we dress according to our fantasies and not really jeans and a t-shirt with a fancy jacket. When we are so far, beyond the point of recovery for a regular lifestyle, surrender to couture seems like heaven for the Halloween adoring, fashion loving freaks! The new Big Bird of the phenomenal Sesame Street from now on is wearing John Galliano’s feathered yellow coat from the Fall 2010 couture line. Betsey Johnson will dress Betty Boop on special events and may be on some nautical occasions Popeye the Sailorman’s wife Olive Oyl. The infamous fashion icon Cruella de Vil could be dressed all in McQueen while Alexander himself, became Snow White being chased after by Isabella Blow. Whether we dress in extreme or from a previous decade, it is for sure on the night of all the Hallows, the freaky creatures crawl towards the surface to get skin deep in our fashions only to show themselves throughout the season.
