Kron by KronKron is a brand for incredible shoe designs from Iceland. Hugrún Árnadóttir and Magni Þorsteinsson, the designers of this innovative brand come from different backgrounds in education yet work together with limitless creativity and feminine style. Hugrún studied fashion design in Studio Bercot in Paris and graduated in 2000. Whereas Magni is a hair dresser in Iceland. The difference in the backgrounds of their studies come together in a young and futuristic concept in designing shoes.
The end result of the designs is perfect, considering the niche style of the brand. The designs look hand crafted and they are a combination of Icelandic design and Spanish shoemaking.
A few years back, the KronKron store was named one of the top seven concept stores in the whole world by Eurowoman magazine due to their innate desire to create an idea for extraordinary designs and rather than going mass production, staying individual, more personal and boutique.
I love the shoes designed by KronKron, due to the limitlessness of them. After all, in art, fashion, design, or in anything that needs creation, need no limits.
