for good mood and better feeling: FummelundKram

I spotted this joyful scarves again at White, in Milan. FummelundKram made by Angelika Paschbeck is a German brand created by this very kind and nice designer (in the pics) graduated at Esmod in 2000.
She describes her work as “exhilarating the individual with unconventional, innovative designs combined with traditional handcraft” for “a more colourful and better world”: often descriptions and philosophies that some brands pretend to follow are general and not saying really that much, but this brief and simple one matches completely.
FummelundKram offers wonderful scarves, dresses, handbags, necklaces, tops and books (the purchase of this last item sponsors a street child in India for one month through the support of the Tomorrow’s Foundation) all decorated with fun embroidery inspired by old and contemporary symbols -masques and computer games among others- produced in India exclusively with hand picked manufacturers, supervising them closely to guarantee fair working conditions. And again five percent of the product revenues of all online sales are donated to a charity that engages in medical care and education for children of the slums of India.
enjoy!
