Balloons and cakes to celebrate Mulberry’s 40 years, at Banner, Milan!
A few weeks ago I was invited to a very special party, Mulberry has presented its line of bags in an event held in one of the coolest shop in Milan, best known as “Banner“. The party was great, an endless array of creative ideas and sweet delights have warmed the event. I was invited to the evening by Rosy and Carla Biffi, with Federica and their wonderful team, they made me feel at home immediately.
The atmosphere was super relaxed and I had so much fun, a different way to attend a launch of a collection that Mulberry is bringing in the best-known boutiques around the world. In addition to the outstanding bags, the balloons were the main theme of the evening, the Mulberry bag has been transformed in a big balloon which is travelling throughout international shops, landing to shop-windows of Paris, Milan, Florence and so on. Mulberry brought the cake directly from London to Milan.
The cake had a wonderful packaging that you could personalize with stickers and bring a slice to home. I decorated my own personal piece of cake that I shared soon after with some friends. The collection is great, if you remember, the bag in shades of aquamarine was our pick of the month on our lost and crowded FB page.
The new season is both darkly beautiful and totally english countryside-cute in the best Mulberry tradition. This season’s iconic Mulberry prints evoke the spirit of Englishness and nature. I was dressed in aquamarine in honor of my favorite color, we suggest you to have a look at the Mulberry site and to dip in a rural yet idyllic world.
