A friday morning at TER ET BANTINE, but only in fluo!

A friday morning at TER ET BANTINE but only in fluo!
“You know what you want when it materializes in front of you” This is a typical statement of the East, which we might also apply to West countries, even though in a less philosophical way ;) . Of course I am referring to a collection of fashion and not to the research of enlightenment, maybe in a future blog dedicated to meditation we might write about Osho and Lao Tzu, but this is not the case. The collection to which I refer is the first resort collection of TER ET BANTINE, a brand that I’m starting to love more and more. Since last year I saw some changes in the design approach, a collection that is revealing a new way to read minimal, despite the clothes are rich in cool details. Construction is the result of intense study, because the body and its movements are not abstract concepts for Manuela Arcari. The infinite possibilities of this modular style highlight the personality of the wearer, not the ego of the designer. The tone is concentrated, rarefied at times, yet, between the folds, the clean cuts and the geometries, one can discover memories and emotions. Simplicity, after all, is complex, full of nuances.
The thing I loved most are the graphics, prints here are graphic, assertive, streaked with abstract exoticism: dots in various sizes, abstract motifs to be worn at any time. I also love the discretion of the fluorescent spots, right now I’m wearing a pair of Marni shoes in orange fluo, but I adore the way in which Manuela Arcari, chief designer of the brand, has introduced some hints of fluo alongside much more neutral tones. The base is clean: dresses and shirts with a concrete allure are predominant; non-orthodox insertions flounces and smocks that run here and there bring a salt of dry romanticism into the discourse. Materials are compact and pleasant to the touch: smooth poplins and textured cottons. A vision of femininity as a balance of contradictions, a woman who discreetly mentions his femininity through the expression of dressing, a collection that gives the possibility to take different pieces and combine them in a very different way, the freedom of casual chic.
