Arturo Elena vs Giacometti . When illustration reminds art

Despite what one might think looking at the following images, this is not a post about dieting, but about art and different perceptions of shapes.
What I want to emphasize here is the similarity between the work of the Italian artist Giacometti with the Spanish illustrator Arturo Elena.
They share a common devotion toward thin shapes that embody the real or ideal perception of bodies in the space.
Some draws remind me the work of a friend of mine who created years ago an amazing dress for one of the episode of Sex an the city (Versace Couture), daydreaming with sweet memories all at once.
